Chough print appliqued upcycled lampshade
A few years ago I sat on the welsh coastal path just south of Aberystwyth and photographed the choughs that were swooping around. This was very exciting for me as I hadn't seen choughs so close up before with their red feet and beaks.
I printed a large piece of fabric inspired by the photos, which is where these choughs, flying around this shade come from.
I carefully cut the birds out and appliqued them onto some cotton calico.
This lampshade was covered in a deep red satin fabric with long tassels when I found it....I hope you prefer my upcycled fresh version.
The shade is a wide one and I can provide fittings for either a pendant light or for a lamp base....whichever you prefer.
If you live locally to me in Ceredigion, Wales or are up this way and would like to own this email me 1st; firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange collection and avoid postage costs.
