Hilary, felt quirky bird sculpture

Hilary is a bright quirky bird, named in memory of the great mind that was Hilary Mantel.
Hilary measures 23cm tall and is a fresh green colour with turquoise wings and bright pink spots, all made from dyed Cambrian mountain wool fibre.

My quirky birds are wrapped, stabbed with a needle, massages with warm soapy water, rinsed and then spun violently in the washing machine!! They are robust creatures.
All my quirky bird sculptures are hand made using British wool fibres and felt making techniques.
They are designed to keep you company, on a shelf, book case, window sill, anywhere their presence will make you smile.

Not toys, more friends and must be kept away from small children and pets.
