Welsh wool felted vase

Just to clear up your puzzlement...yes these are felted vases...all made in one piece using welsh wool fibre, no, they don't hold water but the jar/glass inside them does.

These 2 vessels are most definitely inspired by my home....the birds running around the grey and white vessel sit on a wire outside my bedroom window ( I make many felt pictures of these too).
The other one has more of a landscape feel, with the wind bent trees, there is a bit of Borth, the village where I live, in this.
They are 19cm tall.

The vases can stand alone looking lovely, sit with dried flowers or like have done, just add a jar or glass to hold some real flowers.
