Bluestones, framed painting

This is a painting of pebbles on the sand, taken directly from a photo I took on the beach at Ynyslas, Ceredigion.
I am always intrigued by the way in which the stand behaves in relationship to the stones after the regular strong winds we experience on the West coast of Wales.
I love the solidity of the stones in contrast to the patterns created by the chaotic movement of the sand, I hope I have captured this.
I have obviously used my artistic license to change the colours...a nod to the bluestones of the Preseli Hills to the south.
The canvas is tray mounted and measures 40cm x 50cm.
